Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. Entry

    1. Each entrant can only submit one entry for each question. Multiple submissions within each question will not be entertained. Submissions must be done by leaving comments on iiTutors's facebook page under "comments" on the related competition post.

    2. Entrants are free enter, yet the Organiser has the right to disqualify any entries which are obscene, vulgar, sexually explicit, lewd, derogatory or offensive.

    3. Whenever disputes arise, the Organiser has the sole and absolute discretion to determine whether any entry should be disqualified and its decision shall be final.

  2. Awards and Prizes

    1. Decisions reached by the iiTutors shall be final and non-appealable. However, the Organiser reserves the right to forfeit the award(s) from the winner(s) and transfer the award(s) to such other entrant(s) as the Organiser deems fit if the winner(s) is / are disqualified for any reason at the discretion of the Organiser, including breach of and / or non-compliance with the Terms and Conditions.

    2. The Organiser has absolute discretion as to the total number of awards and prizes to be awarded in this Competition. The prizes will be subject to any changes thereto as the Organiser sees appropriate.

    3. Winners of the awards will be notified on Facebook on the date mentioned on the related competition post. Failure of any winner to respond to the notice within 1 week after the notification will lead to forfeiture of the award, which may then be awarded to another appropriate entrant.

  3. Property Rights / Intellectual Property Rights

    The winner also undertakes to give credit to the Organiser when the images, photos and videos of the Works are being displayed at any occasion or social forum (including but not limited to Facebook or Instagram).

  4. Personal Data

    1. For the purposes of this Competition, the entrant will have to provide the Organiser with personal data. Failure to do so shall result in non-acceptance to this Competition and rejection of enrolment to the Scheme.

    2. Each entrant warrants and represents to the Organiser that all personal data provided for the purposes of this Competition and for the Scheme (if applicable) are true and accurate.

    3. Each entrant confirms that he / she consents to the Organiser’s use of the personal data for the purposes of this Competition and for the Scheme (if applicable), such use to be in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

    4. The personal data collected for the purposes of this Competition will be kept by the Organiser till the end of the Competition, and thereafter will be destroyed. If the entrant also agrees to enrol as a member of the iiTutors, his / her personal data collected will be kept until he / she ceases to be a member of the iiTutors and thereafter destroyed within a reasonable time. The entrant or member of iiTutors may request access or make changes to the personal data already submitted to the Organiser by calling at (852) 9383-4836 or sending email to [email protected].

    5. The Organiser may disclose the personal data submitted by the entrants when required by law or court order, or as requested by the government or law enforcement authorities, or in the good faith that such disclosure is necessary or advisable to protect the rights or properties of iiTutors (aka STEM PLUS Limited), and their partners or subsidiaries.

    6. The Organiser may disclose the personal data collected to third parties for the purpose of this Competition to the external service providers or website developers or other parties engaged by the Organiser to assist with the development, organisation and administration of the Competition.

  5. Disclaimers

    1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Organiser expressly disclaims all warranties or representations in relation to the awards, including and without limitation to, all implied Terms and Conditions as to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and exercise of care and skill. 

    2. No claims, actions or legal proceedings in connection with the Competition or participation in the Competition brought by any entrant or other interested parties will be entertained by the Organiser.

    3. The Organiser reserves the right to change the details of the Competition and cancel the Competition at any time without prior notice.

    4. By entering this Competition i.e. leaving comments on the facebook page related competition post , all entrants agree to release, discharge, exempt and hold harmless the Organiser and its partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, agents and their employees, officers, directors, and representatives from any claims, losses, and damages arising out of their participation in this Competition or any Competition-related activities and the acceptance and use, misuse, or possession of any prize awarded hereunder. The Organiser assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion or missing of data, defect, or delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure; theft or destruction of or unauthorised access to the Competition entries; or alteration of entries. The Organiser is not responsible for any problems with or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, human errors of any kind, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrants’ or any other persons’ computers related to or resulting from participation, uploading or downloading of any materials related to in this Competition.

  6. Miscellaneous

    1. Upon entering the competition which contains the how to obtain this Terms and Conditions, the entrant consents to the Organiser’s use of his / her name and his / her entry in any publicity and / or any publication at the Organiser’s discretion.

    2. The power to interpret the Terms and Conditions shall be vested in the Organiser.

    3. This Competition and the Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR.

    4. The English version shall prevail in the event of any inconsistency of interpretation of the Terms and Conditions. 

Result Assurance Programme Terms and Conditions

Thank you for subscribing to our “Result Assurance Programme” or hereafter 'the program' operated by iiTutors.

We offer a money-back guarantee for subscribing our the program, should the result of the student were not improved in his exam (the last school exam during the program or first exam after the program) hereafter "the exam"and all of the criteria listed in this T&C have been met, the student is entitle the money-back guarantee.

  1. Must attend all arranged classes on time and for the full duration of each class.

  2. Student must have microphone and camera turned on, camera must be facing the student. It’s important that the teacher can see the face of the student at all time.

  3. Complete all assigned homework promptly after each class.

  4. Provide scan copy of all of the test papers within the current school year.

  5. Provide the results of all the tests done in the current and past school year.

  6. Provide the information (including title, publisher and table of content) of the text books use in school. If there are other supplementary material use in school, students/parents are also required to provide these supplementary materials.

  7. Provide current syllabus for test preparations.

  8. Submit tuition fee on time as per agreed schedule.

  9. Must submit the result of the exam.

Money-back 

  1. If all above criteria satisfied and final result of the exam were not improved. You are eligible for a money-back within 14 calendar days of final result released.

  2. The amount of the money-back i.e the refund will be stated clearly to the parent via Whatsapp, email or other means of communication. Once the parent arrange the first payment, the parent agreed the money-back amount.

  3. Should we've not heard from you after the 14-day period stated in point 1 Money-back section, you will no longer be eligible and won't be able to receive money-back.

  4. We encourage and expect our customers to communicate with our teacher and consultant on a regular basis to ensure the desired result of your child is met.

Unlimited Maths Courses T&C

Membership Subscription, Payment and Automatic Renewal Membership Subscription

Student User needs to subscribe to membership plans available and pay the corresponding membership fee before he/she is permitted to access iiTutors' Services. Please see our Subscription Packages.

Student User is required to provide his/her phone number, email address, school profile, and other information to iiTutors for registration. For details, please see our Privacy Policy Statement.
Each Student User shall only register one (1) Student User account. The Student User account is personal and cannot be shared with, transferred, or assigned to any third parties. The Student User shall be responsible to keep his/her account log-in details confidential.
iiTutors may change, suspend or discontinue any aspect or feature of iiTutors' Service, the Mobile Application, the Website, and the settings of the Student User’s account at any time without giving any prior notice and obtaining the prior content of the Student User.
iiTutors has absolute rights to at any time suspend or terminate the Student User’s account without any prior warning notice and consent from the Student User if (i) the personal information or academic credential provided by the Student User during the registration is incorrect, false, not updated or incomplete, or (ii) iiTutors is of the option that the Student User’s actions or behaviours or interactions with any other User on the platform or otherwise has prejudiced to the enjoyment of iiTutors Services by any other Users, or has prejudiced to the reputation or operation of iiTutors or iiTutors' Service, or (iii) the Student User is in breach of or fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions or (iv) the Student User fails to pay the membership fee or any payment.
Payment
iiTutors only accepts the payment methods prescribed in the Website and/or Mobile Application. Student Users may from time to time change or update the payment method. By selecting online payment, the Student User hereby expressly authorises iiTutors to bill and charge membership fee from his designated account or his credit card. If Student User is using parents or guardians’ credit cards or any other payment methods, the Student User must have informed and obtained his parent’s approval. iiTutors does not have obligation to give prior notice to the credit cardholder or account holder.
iiTutors accepts two types of membership fee:-
14.1 **Once-off payment:** Student User who pays a one-off payment 
14.2 **Subscription fee:** Student User may choose to subscribe to the Services on a monthly basis.

The Student User hereby agrees that the pricing information of any iiTutors Service currently contained on the Website and the Mobile Application is only reflecting the current pricing. The pricing will be changed or revised from time to time. iiTutors shall have absolute rights to change or revise the pricing from time to time without any prior notice to or consent of the Student User.
By making any payment through the Website and/or Mobile Application, the Student User is deemed to have accepted the separate sets of terms and conditions of the relevant Specified Payment Gateway. The Student User is also deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions and the mechanisms of the relevant Specified Payment Gateway in relation to refund (if applicable).
The Specified Payment Gateway may charge administrative fees and/or other processing fees from the Student User. iiTutor shall not be responsible for the said fees and that the Student User shall solely be responsible for the said fees.
iiTutors shall not be liable for any loss, damages, costs, and expenses suffered by the Student User arising out of or in connection with (i) any act, default, omission, or negligence of the Specified Payment Gateway or (ii) the closedown, suspension or frozen of the Specified Payment Gateway.
If your country of residence or establishment is Hong Kong and the rest of the world, you are contracting with STEM Plus Limited, located at Unit 513 & 515, Core Building 1, 1 Science Park East Avenue, Hong Kong Science Park (please note that is NOT a return address), and it will act as the processing entity for HKD, USD currency transactions
All membership fees paid are non-refundable.
Automatical Renewal
The Student User acknowledges and agrees that the membership plan will be automatically renewed on the same terms when the subscription period is expired.
The Student User acknowledges and agrees that iiTutors is authorized to bill and charge from the Student User’s designated account or his credit card for the payment or fee without any prior notice for the renewal term. If Student User is using parents’ or guardians’ credit cards or any other payment methods, the Student User must have informed and obtained his parent’s approval. iiTutors does not have obligation to give prior notice to the credit cardholder or account holder.
iiTutors will suspend the Student User’s access and use of iiTutors Services without any prior notice if the Student User’s designated account or his credit card has an insufficient amount for the automatic renewal.
If the Student User does not wish to renew his membership plan, the Student User shall send iiTutors a formal notification through the Website 7 days before the subscription is expired. If the Student User fails to send a prior formal notification as mentioned hereinabove, the Student User may request for the refund of the fee or payment for the renewal term and cancel the renewal plan within two (2) months after the commencement of the renewal term, provided that the Student User has not used any iiTutors Service on the Website and/or Application during the renewal term. The Student User agrees that iiTutors shall have the absolute and final discretion to determine whether the Student User is eligible for the refund of the fee or payment for the renewal term.
The Specified Payment Gateway may charge administrative fees and/or other processing fees from the Student User for the refund. iiTutors shall not be responsible for the said fees and that the Student User shall solely be responsible for the said fees.
This entire Automatic Renewal section does not apply to “Annual Plan” and “Token Pack”.

The Student User shall not use the Website and/or Mobile Application to:-

Without prejudice to any rights of iiTutors under these Terms and Conditions, iiTutors shall have the right to report and provide reasonable assistance to any law enforcement agency or judicial authorities of Hong Kong and/or other jurisdictions for any suspected illegal activities observed in Student User’s actions or behaviors or interactions with any other User on the platform or when using iiTutors' Service, the Website and/or Mobile Application.
The Student User hereby expressly agrees that iiTutors shall have the right to disclose to the Authorized Person the information and data in relation to the Student User, including but not limited to the unique identifier of the Student User, his school name, form, class, topic, concept, skill, the difficulty of Question & Answer, QZ activity, trend, analysis or insight obtained or derived by iiTutors from the said information and data and/or through the use of iiTutors' Service, provided that the disclosure of the said information and data is for the purpose of (i) evaluating or reviewing the progress of the Student User, (ii) preparing course materials or educational materials for the Student User.
The Student User hereby acknowledges and agrees that iiTutors is hereby authorized to use or disclose the following data and information of the Student User to the Authorized Person.

The Student User hereby acknowledges and agrees that the other User may see his/her school name, user name, grade, and/or profile picture.
The Student User hereby acknowledges and agrees that if the Student User signs in using Facebook, iiTutors will obtain his/her data and information including but not limited to first name, last name, gender, birthday, and school name through Facebook.
The Student User hereby agrees that iiTutors shall have the rights to review and make use of all whatsapp conversation, classes information including voice and video recording for audit or overall service improvement of the iiTutors Service.

Fair Use Policy

Student can only register max. one class per day (between 9am to 9pm as one day). 100% of the booked classes must be attended, otherwise iiTutors reserve the right to to cancel any booked classes, or reduce the total number of classes a student allow to book each time.
